Seoul with BBFF posted at 12:16 PM

Seoul, Korea | 26 Feb - 08 Mar

It's my first time to Korea, and it's also Carmen's first, and we do not really know what to expect + we daringly chose to travel on our own, without tour, just the both of us roaming around for 10 days.

But look at us! HHAHHAHA I truly think this trip was fulfilling and of course amazingly awesome

I had my man send me to the airport, and telling me to fuck off at the departure hall HAHHAHAHA but i know he can't bear to leave me for 10 days HAHAHHAHA

& after about 7 or 8-hours in the air, we finally arrived at Incheon Airport! We were both super duper hungry even thou we shared cup noodles in the plane. We then proceeded to Crossroad Backpackers to check-in before we head out for late dinner!

I have no idea what the restaurant's name is but the service is super awesome, and their kimchi is daebak! +my bibimbap is damn good also. Super yummy and super happy that our first meal in seoul didn't disappoint :)

Day 1 was just crazy shopping at Myeongdong. It is a perfect place for beauty queens and people who just can't get enough of beauty products! WHAT'S MORE, their street food is aweeeeeeesome (esp the one at the corner of the junction towards Lotte Young)

So we went back to our guesthouse area (Hongik-Univ station/Hongdae area) for dinner, and whoa whoa whoa, can't stop singing praises about their food + services etc.

We visited the palace the next day (Gyeongbokgung). Easily searchable on the subway line, and navigate using the signboards after you alight the subway! We were thinking of searching for the location of the Rooftop Prince's set but we can't really identify hahahah. And I had a random fever lol idk why either, so frustrating..... But i tried to ignore, and continue strolling around the palace!

We get to try on the Gate Guards' uniform for FREE. Not the hanbuk thou......... HAH

Then we went to namdaemun, in hopes of shopping for clothes and all... But nahhh. Namdaemun is like Chinatown in Singapore. A lot of dried food and a little bit of clothes that's suitable for middle-aged women haha. Then we went back to the guesthouse, so that I could have my panadol and take a power nap.

Felt better the next day, and we went shopping around our own area! And Style Nanda's flagship store was right beside our guesthouse. HOW CONVENIENT.

We discovered the Hello Kitty café the previous night but it was closed. So we went for brunch the next day and hmm the snacks were so-so, but I have to give a thumbs up for the cheese cake!

Next, we went to Trickeye Museum! Also located at our own area haha. Pretty interesting place! And ₩15,000 allows access to the Trickeye Museum and also the Ice Museum!

Next, we went to Dongdaemun for shopping! Nothing much either~ But I must emphasize on its Twist Potato. DAMN GOOD. Please choose the cheese flavour! Haha. And you should watch how they do it. It's impressive haha.

Our visit to Bau House was fun and scary (for me) haha. Because i'm afraid of big dogs, and there's this husky that was larger than me....... But i felt good after awhile because they are all so nice and calm and cool hahaha

And I didn't know Car is such a dog lover. She was just like emitting this aura - this is heaven, my paradise

Then we went to Insa-dong for shopping.......Nothing much too haha But yay we found the corn ice-cream! It doesn't really taste like ice-cream thou.... It's like froyo haha

And we went to N Seoul Tower! Climbed a little of the Namsan Park and reached the Cable Car point. Took it and went up to the foot of the Tower! Bought the locks and up we went! HAHA

And because we can't get over how nice the Myeongdong's street food was, we went back to shop a little + eat a lot hahah

Went to have some Ginseng chicken for lunch and I think it's not super fantastic~ But it is still considered nice! HAHA their food are generally Nice-very nice-super nice-super duper nice-extraordinarily nice-i have nothing to say about its niceness HAHA

And then we went to the Sheep Café nearby (Thanks Nature Café), and had some brownies+ice cream!

Tried to look for Prepix Dance studio as our instructor recommended it to us. We can't really find the location so we had strangers to help us, and this nice lady even walk (run) all the way and brought us there. HOW SWEET!

Daemyung Ski Resort, another crazy thing Car and I did. Can't get over that stupid moment we both had. HAHAHHAHAHHAH yah still can't get over it.

And we went for class after we skied! Crazy day because we totally forgotten to eat HAHAHHA

And blahblahblah with all the shoppings and strolling; on our last day, we went to Coffee Prince for some sweet treats!

And it was time to go home :(

Super mixed feelings, because I kinda miss my family and loved ones, but at the same time, I couldn't bear to leave all the great street food, friendly people and the super romantic city. HAH really, it's very romantic and loving there. HAHAH.

And yep, Car and I did a vlog for this trip, and we also answer 10 questions about Seoul/our trip!
