my birthday (2012) posted at 12:40 AM

I was really happy with my birthday last year because i never expect a lot. I feel that being 19 is like a not-here-not-there age. HAHA so i didn't expect much but BAM. I love all my celebrations hehe.

With my classmates!

Alright so, i have a classmate whose birthday's same as mine! So our other classmates bought a birthday cake and celebrated for us after one of our tutorial class. It was quite funny because i wanted to go to the washroom quite bad so i really wanted to leave the classroom. And idk if there was some miscommunication within my classmates and they didn't stop me from going. So when i opened the door, i saw Vivien frantically lighting up the candles and carrying the cake and stuffs HAHAH. So i just retreated and pretended to not see anything HAHA. and TADAH!

Okay for this........ I really really didn't expect anything special because i felt like i disappointed him a lot for his bday :-( sooooooo.... hah but IT WAS GREAT! ^^

Oh and for this, my sister works at cityluxe and i went to visit her some day, and then i saw that the pens are very nice and classy and i just got one for ed and one for myself! Haha. And i didn't know when i should give it to him so i chose to give him on my birthday since it's a happy occasion hehe

And for my birthday, he brought me to Relish by Wild Rocket at Cluny Court. It's a burger joint opened by Chef Willin Low. A lawyer-turned-chef. I had a mini assignment and i did a research on him and i was so impressed! He quit his legal profession after 8 years and started cooking. All he wanted was to sell something he like - western food with a local twist. So he open Wild Rocket Restaurant in October 2005. And shortly after, he opened a bar Wild Oat in February 2007. And within that year, he opened Relish in December! I'm super super amazed at his progress. And it's a very nice place! Love the ambience, the location, the staff, THE FOOD. omg yes the food.

Ribeye steak served with sauteed spinach and roasted potatoes. OOOOOOOOOOOOMG. The food was fantastic, superb, sumptuous, and the steak was succulent. I ate it, and i went speechless. Just kept eating and eating hahah

I'm really thankful for them! I so glad and happy with their existence. Can't describe how much i love them HAHAH

So! I had my celebration at Syl's place. Her mom prepared a BBQ feast! And yes, Fel's mom helped too! And she even got me a bag! Very very sweet of her! ^^

Their cake surprise was a little similar to my classmate's one. Toilet. hahahah! They were lighting my cake in the toilet and they didn't notice that the mirror was quite big and that i can see the reflection. So yup i pretended HAHAHAHAH and yay secret recipe cake! Haha!

Okay this, is something that i didn't expect. A treasure hunt for my present! Haha! Everything in front was okay. Manageable for me. But....... towards the end, the last station......

DEEP DEEP POOL. Okay i have to admit that i'm afraid of waters. I can swim... BUT NOT EXPERT SWIMMING. I can't trap water.. :( and they left my present all the way to the bottom in the middle of the deep pool :'( i tried! i really did! Syl's brother even went into the water to guide me to my present but i can't seem to reach it. And so they pulled it to the side. So that i can still hold on to the wall and try to get it. BUT I STILL FAILED. Another problem: i can't open my eyes in water. HAHA so....... Syl's brother helped me to get the present up in the end hahah

I really appreciate my girls' effort a lot! I had fun sourcing for my gift! Hahah! just a little disappointed at myself for not "passing" the last stage. HAHAH. But i had so much fun!

I'm really glad to have all my great friends around me! And my celebration with my family was awesome too :D YAY TO BIRTHDAYS! I LOVE CELEBRATIONS! HAPPY EVENTS! :-)
